Oli Lowe
lead performance coach
Oli is a highly experienced Strength & Conditioning Coach, currently working at Birmingham City FC, where he supports players in developing the physical qualities needed to perform at their peak on matchday. With a passion for evidence-based programming and the use of performance technology, Oli ensures that progress in the gym and on the pitch translates directly into competition performance.
He holds a Master’s degree in Sports Science and is a UKSCA Accredited S&C Coach.
Over the past several years, Oli has gained extensive experience across elite sport, holding roles at Swindon Town FC, Cardiff City FC, and within private performance gyms. This diverse background has enabled him to work with a wide range of clients—from academy and professional athletes to business professionals—all united by the goal of improving physical performance.
Away from coaching, Oli has a strong sporting background himself, having competed in football, rugby, and triathlon at youth level. His own training now focuses on Olympic weightlifting (and keeping up with the players he coaches!).

Brett Morris brings a wealth of elite-level experience, scientific insight, and leadership to his role as Lead Performance Coach at Ascension. With over 8 years in high-performance environments — including Wolverhampton Wanderers, Walsall FC, and Club2 Movement Training (which he co-founded) — Brett has coached and developed hundreds of athletes across all ages and performance levels.
Holding a Master’s degree in Sport and Exercise and a First-Class BSc in Sport and Exercise Science, Brett blends academic excellence with real-world coaching at the highest level. His approach is deeply data-driven, using tools like GPS tracking, training load monitoring, and physiological fitness testing to deliver tailored, measurable progress for each individual.
Brett has worked hands-on with players from grassroots to Premier League academies, including rehabilitation support, bespoke strength and conditioning, and long-term development plans. Whether it’s improving speed, agility, power, or overall athletic resilience, Brett’s coaching consistently delivers elite outcomes.
