RACHEL LIGHTFOOT
PHYSIOTHERAPIST
I have 14 years of experience as a chartered physiotherapist working across both the NHS and private sector.
I currently also work at the Royal Orthopaedic Hospital where I have worked for the last 10 years, assessing and treating people with a broad range of musculoskeletal injuries. I specialise in lower limb injuries and have significant experience treating people following orthopaedic surgery including joint replacements, arthroscopy, osteotomies and orthopaedic oncology surgeries. I enjoy working with individuals to achieve their goals, whether that be a return to sport or day to day functional tasks.
I have a postgraduate certificate in rehabilitation of musculoskeletal injuries and I’m working towards converting this to a full masters degree in sports injury rehabilitation.
I enjoy running in my spare time and previously ran cross country and road events at club level, which drives my passion to support rehabilitation of runners of all abilities.
